Windows Movie maker.

I imported a video from my camcorder last year on my dads computer and edited fine on windows movie maker. Then I bult myself a computer so I could edit videos and have already loaded onto my computer and edited a video for my sister so that works all fine.

But today I went and got the files I put on my dads computer last year to use the footage but it won't import onto movie maker.

I keep getting this message:
"C:\Documents and Settings\Jay\My Documents\My Videos\TKD\gti british 2006.wmv could not be imported. The selected file is not valid or is corrupted."

Does anyone know what I can do to fix this asap

Thanks CG

hhmm could be codec related

go to the options menu and find a box for automatic codec download

always a good start
