I recently rolled back Vista to XP on my Gateway MT6823B notebook as Vista and I didn't really it it off. Unfortunately, I'm really struggling to find compatible XP drivers for the notebook - USB ports, wireless card, ethernet port etc etc....

Can anybody point me in the right direction? Here's the specification of the notebook - http://support.gateway.com/s/Mobile/...4195Rcl3.shtml

If I have no joy, is there any software that will assist me in idenifying the make and model of the components without taking my notebook apart so that I could possibly search on their manufacturers website?

Thanks all ;)

Yea, I tried but the manufacturers of the laptop don't support XP. I've managed to find the specification of the components inside the laptop and so, just manually searching the internet now to find XP drivers........
