I was helping a family friend out today and they for some reason cant log on to the halifax online banking facility, I checked java, the browser is upto date and still wouldnt let me
when i came home i tried it on my computer and it works and lods up quick like i open any other pages does anyone know why ive cleared all the temp files, cache and cookies and tried to do it again still the same problem also i ddint have enougth time to run spyware software |

When you say "Log On"

Do you mean you can't open the actual site ie. www.halifax.co.uk won't open (or whatever the url is)? Or that it returns an error or won't open when you type in whatever authentication you need for halifax? My System: FordyPC

there computer can open halifax.co.uk
but when you click the sign on button it takes ages, and when i tried it at home it took literally seconds |

Hmm..
That certainly is an enigma ![]() Especially as you cleared everything.. Have you tried a different browser? I don't really know how it would affect it, but it has an odd way of making a difference. Try Chrome, it's usually pretty fast - and not too messy either, so if it doesn't work, you can easily remove all of it's files. |
