I would like to change my ISP from Orange to Sky who offer a better deal. Before doing so I have two questions which might seem a bit basic.

1. I have a website with Orange. Would I still be able to keep it if I change ISP?

2. Would I still be able to access e-mails sent to my old Freeserve (now Orange) address via the Internet?

Advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Nurtonc

Welcome to TCF

With regard to Question 1, I doubt it as the website will be part of your subscription, should you relinquish it then no site, I may be wrong.

Question 2: You will indeed as I have an old Freeserve account still with them when it was Freeserve.

There is some thing else though that you may wish to consider and that is the question of the MAC Code.
More on that from Sky here.

As wlofey said in the last post, they should let you keep your email, but no your website.

I still have my AOL email address even though i stopped being with AOL 5 years ago.
