| Ok, so first off, apologies for not being here the last few days, I had to fly into Dublin at short notice, and havn't had internet access until now, being back at home, which is when my troubles started. I was using IE (only because I hadn't had a chance to install FF)and I was getting the following issues: Clicking on a link from an Email would give the error: <URL of site linked too> The parameter is incorrect. And using Windows Search, Entering a site in the address bar of IE, or clicking Windows Update in start, would all give me the error: "The requested lookup key was not foun in any active context." So I installed FireFox, and rebooted. I can now open any site (before it was just my homepage) I can open links from emails But I still cant: Use Windows Search (Although google is now fine, within FF) Open Windows Update So I seem to have solved the parameter error, but not the lookup key one. Firewall hasn't changed, no recently removed/uninstalled programs (other than FF) So I'm at a loss here... TIA ![]() Edit: Also, it seems slower than usual, 15secs from one thread back to CJ/forums ![]() That's way too long, x86 FF is usually about the same speed as x64 IE..
