I started the browser and had to sign into all of my add-ons like Gmail Notifier, StumbleUpon etc. The browser was the default instead of the Pitch Dark theme. All of the add-ons were still installed but it seems FF thought it was a new install. Even went through the Welcome to Firefox screens.

Anybody ever experienced this?

Has it updated recently and it forgot to close and re-open after, and this was the first time it had since...

I think I may have shut it down wrong, being still logged on and shutting down the computer from another user account. But I don't see how that would reset everything.

Have you got your profile backed up?

Or is everything fine again now.

Yes, FF has done some strange things with me before. Randomly forgets passwords it has remembered for months.

And at the moment the bottom part of the screen of my Firefox where you normally get the address of a link when you hover over it, like the bottom menu I guess, has completely disappeared and the bottom of a website just goes straight into the task bar.

This sometimes happens to me, usually after updates or force quit.
