Hello all

Since a couple of days i have a very strange problem:

1. Firefox crashes when I play flash games
2. Firefox sometimes crashes with youtube, but not always. I never have sound
3. When browsing the web, my windows media player will start normal, then there will only be sound from one speaker, then no sound. Pausing/playing the song restarts this cycle.
4. Seemingly random browser crashes
5. MSN messenger crashes seemingly random

These problems happen with firefox, ie, chrome. WMP problem also happens with bs player. Especially problem 3 concerns me.


What I have tried so far:
1. reinstalling flash/codecs/browsers
2. running avira antivir, spybot, malwarebyte's (all clean)
3. using a system restore point
4. googling for a while, didn't find anyone with a similar problem

Anyone have a clue what this could be? Any other solution than a complete reinstall of windows?
