Ftp HELP!

hi all,

this is my first post on here and i was hoping somebody could help ?.
I am trying to share files with another computer using ftp i have heard
that it can be done with a program called flashfxp!.

the problem is i dont really know how to configure it, could anybody help?
this would be most apreciated :),

FTP clients are used to upload files to a server.

Is this what you are trying to do?

no what im trying to do is use my computer as an ftp server, i've registered
with no-ip.com but im not having much success.

if its any help i go through a router to connect to the internet.

you could use IIS that comes with XP, or gene6 ftp server. there is plently of documentation on the web, you just need to google. don't forget to forward port 21 on your router.
