try going on windows update or microsoft update in the start menu and getting all the updates. Do you know if you internet explorer 7. Does your computer have tabs on internet explorer? if so its 7. if not its 6. You could try using mozilla firefox which is an alternative. I use it and its pretty good. takes up less computer speed aswell.
