I have Windows XP and I am very good with computers. IE6 is also installed (it was still there when I uninstalled IE7), and it is the browser that opens up when I am logged on. My ISP is Netzero dial-up. I have done all the things that Mozilla tells you to do for it to be your default browser, even typing in the command prompt script, but nothing has worked. Every time I open Mozilla, it asks me if I want it to be my default browser, and I always accept, but every time I shut it, Mozilla is no longer my default browser. So how can I keep Mozilla as my permanent default browser or uninstall IE6?I have done all the ways Mozilla has said to do in order to make it my default browser. Are there any registry commands that you can delete IE6 with?I just went into my program files and deleted IE6. Does this mean that my problem is solved and Mozilla will finally be my default browser?Sorry to keep adding details, but it turns out that when I tried to delete IE6 (twice), the file left, then came back. Is there any way to really delete it?
