I can't delete the browsing history that appears in the address bar on internet explorer 8. I go to Tools - Internet Options and then delete the history but it doesn't go. Any ideas?

I've put that in and pressed return and nothing seems to happen.

How do I do that?
One thing I have noticed is that it deletes recently looked at sites but keeps showing sites that were looked at a while ago in the history. It always shows the same sites after I've tried to delete it. |

Go to:
Tools -> Internet Options -> General -> Browsing History -> Settings In the section marked "History" it should read "Days to keep pages in history" change it to the value of 0 and OK. I personally prefer Mozilla Firefox out of all the browsers. |
