I have been dealing with this issue for a while but it has gotten more annoying so can you HELP!!
Some sites will bring up the IE encounters problem and needs to close or when I am opening multiple windows, it happens. IE is running slower on start up and when I open up multiple windows I have to wait a few seconds before I open another window or I get the IE error. I can not copy to paste it but this is what it says- AppName:iexplore.exe ModVer:8.0.6001.18702 AppVer:8.0.6001.18702 Offset:0003e819 ModName:urlmon.dll I have reinstalled IE 8 no help. I can not do a system restore because I installed McAfee from Comcast.net and it was nice enough to prompt me on deleting them. Am I between a rock and a hard space or can you help?? Yeah, abandon IE and use something else, anything else.
Google Chrome, FireFox 3 and Opera are all great browsers and are all faster and safer than IE. A quick Google of urlmon.dll found: http://forums.techarena.in/windows-x...ort/873072.htm if you want to keep using IE |

I'm with Razer.
Personally I'd go wtih Firefox, best combination of features and speed between the 3. Chrome is fast, but not feature rich and fairly buggy for the moment, Opera has all you could ever want and shed loads more, but is a lot slower as a result.

i second fordy, firefox is millessss better than IE, and opera isnt bad either.
