I am having trouble with dowloading succcessfully IE 8. Everytime I try to update IE, using Windows Update, my installation attempts have failed.
Additionally, I get a msg that states I am using the most current version.
I am unable to access the Web with my current Internet provider. Thank God I downloaded Mozilla before this all happpened, It has been about a few weeks ago that I started having thesesproblems. When iItried to uninstall IE from add/remove, I could not locate the file.

If you are running Vista, it will be listed in your updates and not in programs.
