Upgraded IE7 to Int.Explorer 8 Beta and now found that everytime when I open the browser it disables Norton Security software. My OS is vista home basic 32 bit.what settings are required to prevent this ?

Not an direct fix but I and most members here will agree Norton is probably the worst anti-virus you can use.

It is full of bugs, it really slows your PC down and isn't that good at removing viruses either.

I would highly recommend you remove it and swap to a FREE anti-virus such as Avast.

You're using beta software.

Norton is coded to work with IE7 final and is not naturally compatible with a beta of IE8 and won't be until it's final.

Avast by far or Avira Antivir personal

I use Avast, and find it is very good.

EDIT: Avast also comes with a Microsoft outlook pluggin, than monitors e-mails for potential threats and notifies you when they are found, which has happened to me before, which meant I could just delete the e-mail.
