Im in need of assistance, again!!! My mother in law has a 2 month old dell system which has been fine until this morning. She rang me to say that she could not print from the internet any more. Ive popped over and sure enough no printing can be done from the web. Printing is fine otherwise.. I then noticed that the mcafee icon had dissappeared from the tray. I tried to open the security centre using the desktop icon but the security centre cannot be found. It is showing in programs but has no size reference. So i thought I would contact the technical dept and ask them why. Thing is although I can get to the tech page none of the links to support work. I have tried it on my computer and the site is fine. Internet access is o.k. So this means that I have no way of contacting tech support. I also cannot download the product as that link wont work from here either. Of course dell support isnt open at the weekend so I just wondered if any one could shed some light on this. It all started this am. Are they related issues? I have performed several virus scans using avast, spybot and ad-aware but have turned up nothing. Am i missing something obvious here? Why are the links not working? Other links to non tech related areas on the site work fine. Many Many Thanks,Keith.Ay up Ive just noticed that I cant use the smilies on here either!! I must be missing something obvious!!

Try doing a IE repair.

1.Start Internet Explorer 7.
2.On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
3.On the Advanced tab, click Reset.
4.In the Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box, click Reset to confirm.
