Hello.

I’m new in here, found the site via google search as I have a query, I have blocked facebook on our computer, we ise internet explorer, following instructions I did this by tools-internet options-content-enable, then I have listed the site which has worked, as it is now blocked. However, when I login in to another site it instantly logs me out again, disabling the content rectifies this but I assume I have done something wrong as the only site I have asked for a restiction on is *.facebook.com; any tips?

Many thanks

Paul

What is the other site, is it Supporting Internet Explorer?

I assume the other site you logged into worked before you blocked Facebook. You could always try with another browser, oh and the best way to completely block a site is by filtering it on the router (then you block the whole sites on the whole network, on all computers, not just your own on IE, and if your really smart you block an ad-server too :O).

I know they use Firefox as there browser, where as we are internet explorer, when I was googling problem some mentioned blocking at the router; looked a bit harder to enable and disable as I do now though; is it?

Firefox use their own network system (which works quite well imo), so yes if you wanna block it from Firefox you've gotta do it via the router or Firefox itself (dunno if you can do that).
