Hi Team,

I'm facing an issue with Internet Explorer 8. Let me tell u in detail.

Sometimes back I had to reinstall the Windows XP SP2. Since then I've bee facing an issue with IE. At this time of reinstallation, I had IE6.

Whenever I launched IE6, first of all it took somewhat long time. Secondly, whenever I closed the IE6, it hangs up for more than 2 minutes and then a small box pops up with the message as "to help protect your computer, windows has closed this program"....and then when I clicked on the tab to close it, another box pops up with the message "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and need sto close. We are sorry for the inconvenience" and then I close this box by clickimg on "Don't Send" tab.
Now this closure takes a hell lot of time and it freezes the system.

Then I went to the Microsoft site and downloaded IE8. The same issue was ongoing rather it worsen by the fact that it was now taking more time than before.

Then I downloaded XP SP3 from the Microsoft's site but the issue is the same....No Luck!!

I am attaching the screenshots of the messages for the referrences (1st msg and 2nd msg)........Pls help me on this issue !!
