I just checked, and, yes.

The way Chrome handles tabs is perfect!

If anyone else doesn't know what I mean:

Open up 10 tabs in Chrome and 10 in Firefox.

Go to the first one along in Firefox and then try to close them all. Most frustrating how the close button moves each time.

Now go to Chrome. Repeat the same procedure and see how beautifully it handles it.

Rant over

All you need to do is middle click the tab and it closes.

Ahh yes the power of the middle click

It also depends on what theme you are using. I've had a few that were real nice but did funny things to the tabs so I had to get rid of them. I'm using Office 2007 Black now and very happy with it.

Opera does the same with tab resizing, it's annoying, but since I don't have the close button on the tab, but instead in the top right it's not much of an issue. Add to that, that I usually use the keyboard for browsing and I'm ctrl+f4-ing all the way.

Opera Innovations.

With opera, I have the tabs make several lines rather than make a scrolling line. Also, to close the tab you are on in FF, Opera, or Chrome, pressing Ctrl+W closes it.
