does anyone know why my websites are not displaying everything properly? Sites that I know have a coloured background are not showing up and are on a white background. Some menus are black and the contents are not displayed until my pointer is on top of the options.
Text is on top of other text sometimes. Oh its a mess....

I can't suggest much unless I know some more information about what you are using.
  • What operating system (Windows XP, Vista)
  • What browser (IE, Mozilla)
Once we have this maybe we can find a solution.

Ok

So are you having the sane problems in both of these browsers or just one?

I will assume it is both.

My first thought may be some sort of virus.

Do you have up to date anti virus software?

The first thing that I would try is downloading Spybot Search and Destroy.

It is a free tool and will find anything not supposed to be on your PC.

When you download it run a full scan and see if it finds anything.

If it does let it delete them. Then see what is happening in your browser. Mozilla may need to be reinstalled.

The other thing you may be able to do if this is a new problem is to use system restore.

This will let you roll your computer back to a previous time when hopefully there weren't any problems.

You can find it in Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - System Restore.

Try rolling it back a few days and see if that clears it. It will not work if this problem has been around for long.
