| For many years Firefox have been hitting the headlines in technology, dominating the browser market, over competing with IE, Safari etc... and one of its successes has been down to its decent security mechanisms plus many more features... But it seems to me that since the mid 2008 period Firefox have been drastically decreasing in performance & popularity. And IE have taken that as an advantage to over lead them with the newly informed IE8 after a disastrous IE7. So is IE8 really that good in terms of: - performance - speed - security - features - user look & feel - ease of use ?? |

| I only use IE when I go to the MS website and then only because MS will not allow Firefox lol. Almost as soon as IE 8 came out though, they had to send out a patch because it had a HUGE exploit in it. Does that suggest anything? |

| No, i'd still stick with firefox, like bubba said, ie8 had many flaws on release, it's beta version was very buggy, that i was surprised that microsoft had actually released it, even as a beta, i say use firefox and install the IEtab addon if you need IE, it lets you load tabs using the IE engine in firefox.
