My PC has never had a problem before with Flash player but now 'Youtube' is telling me that "Either Javascript is turned off or I need to get the Latest Flash Player"
There are of course many other applications for which this software is a must and when I have downloaded the Flash Player though it is supposed to be there it is nowhere to be found. The only change that I have made recently was to update Internet Explorer to 7.
I wondered if anyone has run into this problem and if so what do I do next?

look in tools-props

make sure cookies are allowed and flash player animations are set.

try latest flash player or delete history / cookies / temp files

Simon,

I thank you and others on this most useful forum.
I had not realised that you must first have the Adobe flash player uninstall software before the version 10 will download properly.I followed this procedure and hey presto!!
I also did those things you suggested. Thanks again PeterH
