| ...browsers? firefox and internet explorer? im sure norton internet security is blocking them from accessing the internet because when i turn it off my browsers work fine. but i cant seem to find where to configure the settings so that it allows my browsers to run. i already configured the " allow program control " settings in the personal firewall section to allow firefox yet it still does not work. please helpim also not looking forward to uninstalling this, thank you all for the comment but that wont help. i already paid 90 dollars for norton |

| I suggest removing Norton from Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs. Sometimes, it has a problem and blocks all programs from accessing the Internet. It also makes your computer slow.So, unless you paid for it, remove it because Windows Firewall is just fine. |
