Works fine for me, must be a browser/PC problem.

What's the error message you are getting?

Works fine for me too. Ok, lets check something, go to start>programs>accessories>command prompt. then type: "ping www.theburtonsurgery.co.uk" (without the quotes) and let us know if that manages or not.

When you say its common with IE and Firefox do you mean you have another browser that it does work with?

Or are you merely saying that those are the two you have, and neither connect?

have you tried using the IP address that comes up in command prompt instead of the web address in IE or Firefox?

have just tried the IP address and it says not recognised.
also when using IE to load site it says im not connected to the internet even though i am.
also tried pinging using other software and it says failed.
is there a setting in firefox that is to do with allow/disallow sites that can be loaded,i havnt changed any settings but have found on occasion that windows has a mind of its own.

have found the problem,it because they are using a broadband connection to host the site instead of a web host,
and it expired on the 2 October 2008 and hasn't been renewed.
this info came from my isp who also cant connect to that site.
so if nothing is done more people will find they cant access the site.
