Hi!

I seem to have a problem when trying to log onto certain websites and cannot get past the log in screens. I have never had this problem untill recently but it only seems to affect 'less secure' sites that I use, by that I mean I am still able to get onto my online banking sites and online shopping sites etc, so as yet it not a major issue just a frustration.

I enter my Username, Password and when login selected it takes me back to the log in page with no error message and both cells empty. I tried entering details incorrectly as an experiment and this does give me the error message of incorrect username etc so i know my details must be correct.

I have fully scanned my computer for viruses, spyware and the like but have found no infections and these same symptoms seem to replicate in any browser I use, currently IE8 and Firefox.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Empty your cookies and cache.

If the same thing is happenning in both Firefox and IE8, it sounds like it could be a server problem on the website.
Is this happenning on one site in particular or on many ? .... can you tell us which site(s)
