I have been installing the 9.0 SE version on my xp home. I have two pcs that I use it on this one I'm using now, when I get it installed and then log off line I don't get the usual updates like normal just don't get any at all? the other pc will update 4 or 5 times after a fresh install. also, when I try to remove everything included with aol things like tool bar, desk bar will give an error saying could not open install log? I have tried the VR version it takes updates but, a popup keeps showing up saying AOL has a critical Update to install but, when I click ok it says failed to install? it pops up over and over right in the middle of burning a DVD which isn't a good thing. so, I can't use it. I'm trying to find a solution other than trying a complete fresh install of xp and loosing everything I have spent hours to download using Dialup and you know how long that takes

Advice: DON'T INSTALL AOL SOFTWARE PERIOD!!!
