Update manager advised me to install IE8 yesterday, but it would not open after it was installed. I know others have had this problem, so I decided to uninstall it and revert to IE7.
Uninstall process seemed to work fine, but now IE7 won't open correctly. The window opens, I get a glimpse of the "runonce.msn" address, then the window freezes at "customize your settings." Nothing, just a white screen. Can't close the window, can't go any further. Rebooting does not fix it, nor does starting IE7 without add-ons. I'd reinstall IE7, but I can't get to the internet. Any ideas? |
