what browser do you useI'm on Opera, and have been for a dew years now, I find it works best for me, however i still use mozilla firefox too, but I use that specifically for a text based web game I play a bit, mainly because it means i can have homepage tabs for only that game, whilst keeping my previously used tabs in Opera.

what browser do you useOpera. It is fact that it is the best browser you can get. The only slight advantage Fx has is the plug-ins, Opera has widgets which are nice, but not to my prference. Then again, the plug-ins I add to Fx come delivered in Opera. I even prefer the developer tools, though I use both rarely. |

what browser do you usePlank was factually incorrect anyway! Some of us are old enough to remember MOSAIC, the original web browser, which was open source and was killed off by the commercial upstart Netscape. Mosaic was standards based, whereas Netscape decided it would add stupid things like
IE was based on Mosaic. Firefox grew from Netscape. Now Firefox is open, so for that reason I prefer that to IE. (Plus its many add-ons of course!) In Linux I often use Konqueror as well. Since I generally have Firefox and Thunderbird open constantly in the background, the startup time is hardly an issue. Have you tried the edits detailed below? <Link hidden. what browser do you useSUSE on laptop, I think my desktop is still Ubuntu! lol suse and pclinuxOS were the only distros that would install on my laptop and desktop without some problem or other. Tried most of them, Debian, Mint, Ubuntu, Fedora, FreeBSD, etc. Most left me with no internet access by default. In Debian, even the installer didn't run correctly---blank or corrupted screen. SUSE has Yast, which even runs in terminal mode and is great for recovery. Over the years I have developed a habit of testing software to destruction. ![]()

what browser do you useNobody's mentioned links. It has features that opera/ff/ie lack, they have things links doesn't. links is very quick, for example. The whole Internet looks much the same whichever site you're on, there's no colours and no pictures. Navigating with the keyboard makes everything very fast compared to aim-and-click mousing.

what browser do you useI don't rearly like the sound of links, I like having each webpage different to others, and quite ofternly the pictures, colours etc. are what makes a web page, a webpage.

what browser do you useThe main reason to use links is to check that something you've written for the web makes sense to blind users. You cut out the photos and the colours and try to navigate it without those clues. If it's meaningless then you go back to your code and improve it. So, it has a rational excuse as well as being a wow-fast way around the Internet.
