Default windows screen size

hi all,dont know if anyone can help.ever since i got my new laptop with vista on it i have a anoying problem.every time i do a new internet search every page comes up about half the real screen size and i have to enlarge it to full size manually.i cannot find anything in the control panel that will adjust this.does anyone know how this can be overcome so it comes up full page as standard,cheers das.

hi dave,not really.its not an error just a setting which i dont know how to adjust.the new page comes up like a page in a page and i have to press maximize to get it to full screen.is there a setting which makes each page come up full size as default.

Ah, now I know what you mean.

No, there is no default setting, windows should learn your preference and open new Internet windows either full screen or minimised depending on if you maximise them or not on a regular basis.

As you can guess windows gets in a muddle and doesn't always get it right.

All you can do is persevere and hope it corrects itself or get a better browser like FireFox.
