What would be the best linux for a computer with 8mb graphics card, 256mb ram, 533mhz P2, you get the piont..... a really old computer.:rofl :

Just about any of them would run on that! I have a Linksys NSLU2 with 32Mb RAM running Linux!

You may want to go for a low graphics footprint, but again KDE and Gnome should be no problem. Stay away from all the graphics tricks like wobbly windows, etc.

PCLinuxOS is good, pretty compact with a good starting set of applications and lightening fast install time. Give it a try!

Yes, lovely little box! Rang the unsling script and have a fully fledged linux box the size of a usb hub, plus it uses barely more than the power needed to power its attached drive.

I'm hunting one down on eBay.

I think it will make a good DHCP / DNS server

Not that I really need any more servers lol.
