| ...in Ubuntu linux? I had installed vmware and after it is causing some problem I removed it. but if I try to install another vmware from another source, I can't install it. I get a message saying that a previous install has been detected. I would like to remove it completely even the installation file so that I can be able to install another kind of vmware-player. |

| is it Ubuntu you want to remove? im pretty sure in the menu after the CD boot theres an install/uninstall bit, if thats what you tried, you could always try re-installing it then removing, or a system restore to just before installing |
