Ipod Linux Messed Up My Nano(HELP!)?

So i got this ipod 4g nano that i installed linux on. It didn't work and gave me this big long long error on my ipod when I began to load up the software. I rebooted it so many times with my nano connected to my new windows hp computer. No matter how many times i rebooted my ipod, it just keeps on displaying this error. I really need help getting my computer to detect my nano so i can get linux off of it.
