hello i have just got a ibm thinkpad 570
64mb ram 366mhz processor massive 6gb hard drive 2.5mb on board video graphics i am looking to install linux and i have used various versions before, i have looked around for a good distro that is very lightweight and i have found damn small linux to be very light on the specs just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on a good OS or if anyone has use damn small linux before? Thank you |

yes ive used dls before and it works well on my p2 350hmz with 64mb of ram, i think it only takes up around 100mb so you will have plenty of space left on your luxuriously big hard drive :)
