Linux Ubuntu 7.10 Gusty Gibbons
When booting in Gusty my first screen is grub then usplash then login and then an orange screen with no logo or script after it is the desktop I can change grub,usplash,login,and the desktop. I cannot find and or change the orange screen Would someone help me change or eliminate this screen Thanks Ray |

Run gdmsetup and change the background colour!

Have you tried changing the default color in /etc/gdm/PreSession/Default ?
