Default Ubuntu and Beryl

I haven't found any good installation guides for Beryl. I simply don't understand how to get it on my linux. there are so many words in the many bad instillation guides that I don't know Can anyone give a good instillation guide for someone who is a first day user ...

beryl is dead. compfiz-fusion can implement any aspect of beryl that you desire.

actually bery and compiz have joined, you can install compiz from the repositorys
a repository is an on-line server supported by conical and the ubuntu community it contains all the deb packages for the most popular programs, you can access it via synaptic package manager or add remove programs in the applications menu, you need to set it to show all available applications and not all installed and then carry out a search for compiz, you should see advanced desktop affects download that it will install automatically, who said installing programs on linux was hard, because they're wrong!
