I know someone who is creating a linux OS.I am not clueless. I have been using linux and i just wanted what other people think. Not clueless at all!!!!!

Unanswerable question.Some are better for certain uses than others... and the following is just my opinionI like Ubuntu for a desktop PCIndustry common is Red Hat Enterprise Linux for serversKnoppix is good for bootable CDsDSL is great for a bootable stick driveLindows is supposed to be good if you want it to look like WindowsAnd of course next year's Linux will be better than this years.Alternatively, try a few and decide which one *you* like... and that's the best for you.

Well if you are looking at a linux OS Ubuntu is the best so try. www.ubuntu.com

Unstable?! HAHAHAHA sry *wipes eyes* Ive been using linux for a 4 1/2 months and its crashed 3 yes, 3 times 2 of which are my fault, 1 was RAM overload on a live CD.I like Kubuntu for HD distro and SLAX and DSL for live usb/CD distros. Oh, thanks for the good laugh.
