Now I no that there are a hand full of media players for linux, but I want one capable of plying music more like Itunes, I want it to have an equalizer and to have an option to right click or do something so that the song i have selected will play next, and so on, I want one that is more of a professional one if you get were i'm going.

vlc, Banshee, Rhythmbox, and Songbird are all excellent. Songbird will also browse the web, as it is built on Mozilla's gecko engine.

VLC for audio is a silly choice IMO. It's not cut out to play music very well.

Not to whore myself out but you might wanna check out a blog post i wrote just a week or so ago about the best Linux Music Players with screenshots n' shiz,

For music i use Amarok, which is very good and enables you to search the internet for lyrics etc. Also songbird is very good, and has many useful tools.
Also VLC is capable yet lacks the many aspects of an application like itunes, i use it for films not music files.
