Ok,At the moment i have a Broadcom wireless card,and that does not work in ubuntu (And i cant get NDISWRAPPER Working). It's slowly dieing so i have to get a new one soon,so i want a good Wifi card that has good speeds,and will work in ubuntu without any additional work.

Funny, I thought that did work with Ubuntu. Does it need firmware?

The Intel cards are easy to get running. I assume this is a mini PCI card on a laptop motherboard?

The Netgear cardbus cards also work.

Just about the easiest distro to get working is PCLinuxOS but OpenSUSE is not far behind.

Actually Its on a Mini PCI to PCI Converter and i have it runnning in my main computer.Im not sure why it doesnt work,It just doesnt (Im a Linux n00b lol).


EDIT; I Just found an Excelent Wiki on my wireless card in Ubuntu,Trying it now

Intel is as said a safe bet, I'm also running an Atheros 5005 wifi card, also no problem.
