Default Changing Default Option in EXCEL

In EXCEL, when I go to Tools>Macro>Macros, to see the list of available macros, I first get all the macros belonging to all the workbooks open, because the default option in the “Macros in…” little box below is “All workbooks open”.
Can that default option be changed to “This workbook”?
Or can I write a macro to get it changed?
Sincere thanks for any help on this.
