I was unsure where else to put this. My supervisor was asking for a way to remind him about work orders. He runs a public works contract on a military base. He will get shop orders via phone/email about random things...for example a running toilet. He has a timeline once he recieves the order that he must follow. He has 30 mins to send someone out there, 4 hours to figure out solution, 5 days to fix it. He's looking for a program that will remind him at the 20minute mark, the 2 hour mark, and the 3-4 day mark about the task needed. He says on a slow day they receive about 10 or so and on a busy day, up to near 60. Each order does have a unique Document Number.

I was thinking of excel, not sure if they have any reminder functions, and if it can track things real time. Otherwise, we're looking for a program that will allow us to do this in the least painstaking way. I know you could set up reminders on Outlook, but doing that 60 times in one day is a bit crazy. The company is willing to buy a license for a program, if any are found. Thank you for your time!

You need to be looking at project managers... Never something I've used myself mind, so cant say whats good and whats bad. I believe the office 2007 has one in its suite somewhere though?
