Cheers everybody.
I am a Dane living in Norway, studying Economics. I have a danish version of Microsoft Office 2007 and when i go to lectures everything is shown in the norwegian Microsoft Office 2007. For most things I deal with that just fine, but in Excel I am experiencing problems because the syntax names are difrent in the two languages. I wonder if anyone in here knows a good place to translate excel formulaes from Norwegian (or english) into danish? Illustrativ example: In the english version of Microsoft Office 2007/Excel there is a function called "PMT". That Function is called "Finn.Rad" in the norwegian version and it is called "Lopslag" in the danish version. I need something that can translate functionnames/formulaes from one language to another. Norwegian to danish would be preferable, but english to danish would also be helpfull. My solution to the problem now is to look at the describtions of all related functions in my danish version untill I find one that fits the norwegian describtion. I hope that someone can help me, It would really make things a h..l of a lot easier for me ![]() Best Regards (A new member of the community): PranX |

Hey Evilfantasy
Thank you for your reply, although it wasn´t suitable for my problem. Excel formulaes arent in an ordinary dictionary therefore it wont translate as I want on Babelfish. And on top of that it cant translate to danish :) Heh, but thank you for trying ;) (And sorry by the way for posting in the wrong place ;) /PranX |

A quick google and it looks like there is software to do what you want. But not cheap.
Sorry I didn't understand at first what you were trying to do. I am afraid it is a bit above me.
