i thought it came free with previous computers. maybe i always had a friend hook me up. anyways, i'm fine with using something different in the future, but have existing word and excel documents sent from old computer that i can't read. is there a safe way to dowload excel ...

Getting word and excel- new laptop
The only way to get it free would be illegally and discussion on illegal downloads is not allowed here.
