Hi all!
My name is Jamie. I was referred here from another forum that I am very active in. I went there hoping someone would be able to answer a ? but no one knew and a user referred me here, telling me how knowledgeable you are! My question has been this... We just upgraded to Office 2007 here at the company and are trying to get away from a different email client we have been using in the past. I am trying to create a template in Outlook from a template that was previously created in Word... So here is my question. Can I turn the Word template into an Outlook template? I want word doc. to be in the body of the message and not sent as an attachment. We previously used Mail Chimp and it was great but we're trying to upgrade everything into a more appealing format and Mail Chimp is pretty basic. The email template is below... ![]() If this is not a possibility, is there a way for me to create a template directly in Outlook that will look like this? Sorry, I'm new to this Office Software and new to this design stuff in general. Thanks for any help I receive. I look forward to learning a little more about everyone! |

I think what you are after is a mail merge.
They are pretty easy to do: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/he...349201033.aspx If you need more help I'll be glad to help. Basically the way it works with Office is that: Outlook is the email 'engine' so to speak. It is responsible for taking the document you provide it, turning it into email format, and then sending it on to the server to be processed. Word, where you have your template, is the 'typist' so to speak. It is like the person typing who normally types the email out into the email client. So Word will get the template, insert the persons name, address or whatever else you want inserted, and then send it on to Outlook to send.
