Hi,
I had office 2007 trial version running on this computer (vista ultimate) but unfortunately I installed office 2003 without uninstalling 2007 1st. Yes I know .. bad mistake. After 2007 over rode 2003 I uninstalled both 2007 & 2003 also using windows installer utillity. Re installed 0ffice 2003. I am unable to install SP3 or any updates needed. These show in the add/remove programs as installed But. you can't uninstall then from there and I have not installed any updates generated from Windows updates. How do I delete these files from the Add/Remove programs in control pannel so that the SP3 can be installed??? :4-dontkno what to do next. Please help me.

I see that :4-dontkno thing a bunch here lately. What the heck is it and what does it mean. please excuse my ignorance lol, but i am old and don't text. But on to your problem:

Unless I am way of base, you have to go to Windows update and click on review update history. When that window opens you should see a sentence that says, "To remove an update go to Installed Updates. " The words Installed updates will be blue and underlined like that. Click on the installed updates link (not the one in this post lol, it's an example), and the next window will say "remove an update." Find the SP3 and follow the instructions on how to remove it.

Hope this helps.
