In what mode can I check the code of a blank msword page. That code looks like garbled and distributed all over the page. One of my collegue showed me that, but now I forgot what mode was that.

If I check the blank page foe notepad , it wii be blank. But if I check that for msword, it will show some garbled coding because of the formatting setup in the source code.

Thats the reason why SQL queries are written in notepad and not msword.

Please reply with some details.

thanks

Uh, open it in Word/OpenOffice/whatever? I assume you're just trying to pull plaintext out of a Word file? There's nothing that's going to be easier than just opening it in the program: I saw some programs but this was such a simple task all of them were written in perl and not downloadable, so just grab OO and do it that way.
