I haven't got a text program that counts words, so how much would you guess 700 words is?Edit, I was told to type up something 700 words, but I don't know how much that would be. It would be double spaced.

Whats the spacing? Whats the Font? What size of Font???Do it right and you could have 2 pages or 100's.

Based on your statement Catty and using MS Word I copied the statement over and over to a limit of one page.
I double spaced between each paragraph instance and for one page I used 492 words.
This was based on normal style with a Times New Roman font set at 12 point.

Your looking at 3 pages tops if you want to make it a little more snappier.

Along with the physical aspects (font, spacing, etc.), you need to take into consideration the grade level at which you are writing (average word size). Just estimate it the old fashioned way. Take the average of 5-10 lines.
