Several years ago, and I'm not certain this worked in Word 2003 or 2000/XP, I had written a very "plain jane" macro that did nothing but toggle the highlighter state. That's all it did. I'm a keyboard guy.
What was so memorable about this macro was that it would toggle the highlighter state even within the search-replace box. Well, I lost my macro and haven't been able to make one since that would do that. As I recall, all I did to write the original macro was record keystrokes with selected text on the document itself. I simply want to replicate the functionality of keystrokes Code: ^H --> Alt-O --> H with code that also works on selected text in the document itself. I'm willing to be taught to fish if someone could point me in the right direction. |
