Office app freezes for around 2 minute

I Office 2003 sp3 running under XP Pro

Recently, whenever I click "Save As"..., the Office app freezes for around 2 minutes. When it comes back, I can save, but if I try to navigate to a different folder using the Save In dropdown list, it freezes again for minutes.

It appears to be a Microsoft Office problem, since its not affecting the "Save as" in other applications I use. Help!!!!
