Hi, I need to import a few hundred pages from a Notepad document to Word, but when I do so and change the font or the font size, there are gaps at the ends of the lines.
Can someone please tell me how to fix this? Thanks in advance. |

.doc and .txt are different format!
It should work, but there may be some issues. can you post a link to a screen shot so i can take a look? |

No, its nothing to do with the file format, when I copy and paste text from a Notepad document into Microsoft Word it leaves gaps at the ends of lines..

Don't cut and paste it.
Open the .txt file directly using Word!!! (there is no such thing as a notepad file / document incidentally, notepad uses the standard plain .txt type of file, as it is a text editor.) If the .txt file was made by an idiot who put a line return at the end of each line of text, that is possibly what you are seeing. |
