Hi,
I use Office 2007 on a Vista based laptop. I get lots of Word 2003 documents (.doc) from colleagues and friends that get saved to My Documents and suchlike. I cannot open them by double clicking - I have to open Word 2007 first and the open the through the file open route. This does not happen with Excel 2003 (XLS) files, they will open directly. I cannot find anything in Word 2007 to change this. It is not the worst thing to have to deal with, but it is mildy irritating. Any help gratefully received. Thanks Tim |
