I use outlook 2003 as my mail client for my pop server - we're with talktalk.

However, I keep getting so many e-mail though from CJ becuase each time someone replies I get alerted. So is it possible for me to set it up so that each time a message comes in from CJ, it goes into a folder called "Computer Juice" instead of clogging up the Inbox.

Cheers

Tom

yes, follow these steps:

Go to tools>rules wizard>new>make sure the "create new rule from a template" is selected>select "move new messages from someone">next>select "from people or distribution list" then in the bottom part, click "people or distribution list">click "new", then "new contact">insert the CJ e-mail address with a name etc>when you are done slick save and return to the previous window>select CJ from the list on the left and select "from" to move it to the right>click "specified" in the bottom part of the window>find where you want the e-mails to go, putting in new folders as you want them>click ok when you have found the folder>click next 3 times>give it a name if you want to>select the conditions you want from the boxes there>then click finish.

This should work.

Let us know if it does/doesn't

Sorted - steps were a little different to what you wrote but using your steps I was able to figure it out!

Thanks

it must have been different because of different versions then. because I have office XP, I was assuming it would be the same, maybe I should have mentioned that. Glad you got it working though.
